Employee Engagement
"The body of evidence that employee engagement is a key driver of organisational performance grows almost daily. But with recent research highlighting the fact that employee disengagement is a global epidemic, organisations still clearly have much work to do to ensure that their workforce can be properly inspired and motivated." Andy Parsley, Management Issues Dec 2005
As we’re all beginning to acknowledge, employee productivity is clearly connected to employee engagement, so creating an environment that encourages employee engagement must be top priority for every management team.
To help you do this, we:
- Develop surveys (comprising questionnaire and conversations) designed to measure a range of variables and get a feel for the employees’ sense of well-being within the organisation. We also document their frustrations, get their ideas for changes that will add value to their product or service and note their personal learning and development needs.
- Work with senior managers to implement organization-wide changes to systems, procedures and methods of communication.
- Work with middle managers to implement department-wide changes to working practices, methods of communication and involvement.
- Work with staff teams to build their knowledge, skills and attitudes to enable and empower them to embrace change and increase their levels of involvement, participation and ownership.
It is your attitude, not your aptitude, that determines your altitude
